Dean Hart is a lifelong healthcare professional, educator, and scientist with a passion for helping people and a commitment to ethical leadership.

With decades of experience as an optometrist, graduate trained bioethicist and 25 years with Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons Department of Ophthalmology as an Associate Research Scientist and Assistant Professor to the medical residents. Dean has dedicated his life to bridging the gap between science, public health, and community needs. From providing vision care and advocating for ethical healthcare practices to mentoring future leaders, his work is grounded in service and driven by facts, not politics or popularity contests.

Whether in the classroom, clinic, or community, Dean brings clarity, compassion, and a focus on real-world solutions to every challenge he faces.
